The Quail Valley Sewer System

Quail Valley homes are connected to a modern sewer system. Until September 2007, the system and its waste water treatment plant were operated directly by the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association. In September 2007, the City of Minneola took over management of this system, and have connected the lines and pumping stations directly to the City's new treatment plant. The Quail Valley treatment plant is no longer operational.

Quail Valley homeowners and other residents have a responsibility to keep the sewer lines free of debris which may clog the system. System malfunctions caused by debris cost money to repair. In the past, diapers flushed into the system have been a recurring problem, and now the City of Minneola has had to deal with cleaning rags and other cleaning materials being flushed down toilets. Please read this letter (JPEG format) from the City describing the problem and detailing possible consequences.
