Quail Valley Lot Owners Community Reminders

Please pay special attention to these community issues:
  • Basic maintenance of lawns, such as mowing, weeding, edging and trimming trees and shrubs must be done regularly. Edging is a very important part of lawn maintenance that really makes a difference in the landscape and the looks of the community. Use your edger each time you mow. Don’t let weeds overtake your plant beds or driveways.

  • Please remember when mowing and maintaining your lawn, you must clean up all lawn debris. Yard debris must be bundled correctly for it to be picked up by Waste Management. Minneola Code Enforcement will be called if lawn debris is not picked up in a timely manner and you may be charged. Please do not blow debris into the drains as it will block them and cause additional expense to the community.

  • All trash cans, toys, and other items must be stored out of sight, (in the home or garage or behind a fence) when not in use. Do not store items at the side of your home as they are still in clear view of anyone passing by. This will keep the community attractive and keep the value of your home high.

  • FOR RENT signs are NOT permitted in the community.

  • Please remember to clean up after your dog and that all pets must be on a leash! This is Florida law. The association has provided Fido House trash cans and baggies for your convenience. Please utilize this amenity.

  • NO SPEEDING! Please be aware of the speed limit in the neighborhood as there are many children in the area. There have been several reports of excessive and dangerous speeding in the neighborhood. If you see someone speeding and can get their license plate number and/or make of car, call the non-emergency police. Any questions or comments relating to safety in the community can be relayed to Lt. Mark Stauffer at mark.stauffer@lcso.org or by calling 352-394-3598.

  • Do not allow your children to play in the retention ponds.

  • Please do NOT park across the sidewalks as this creates a dangerous situation for those who have to walk around cars into the street to get to their destination. Also do not park in the yard, on the grass or on the easement between the street and the sidewalk as it will kill the grass and makes the home and yard appear unkempt.

  • Trailers are not allowed in the community. RV’s and boats must be screened from view with approved fencing in the back or side of the house or may be kept in the garage.

  • Should you need a copy of the community documents, please go to the community website at QVLOA.org.
