A regular meeting of the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association, Inc. Board of Directors was held at Premier Association Management Clermont Office, 375 E. Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711, on October 22, 2020, at 7:15 p.m. Board Members present were Ray Nivarel (President), Laura Smith (Vice President) by phone, Robert Tindell (Secretary/Treasurer) and Ron Caron (Director). Quorum was established. 4 out of 4 present. Marie Clark represented Management. Meeting was noticed on Facebook and info Board. Meeting called to order: at 7:21 p.m. by Ray Nivarel. There was a special visit from Debbie Flinn and Daniel Smith, both running for Minneola Council Seat 2. Both spoke to the Board and discussed their views. Previous Meeting Minutes: Ron Caron motioned to accept minutes, Laura Smith seconded to approve minutes for September 24, 2020, motioned, passed. Financial Report September 2020 financial report was presented by Manager, Marie Clark. Marie advised that there are two items that need to be handled by the accounting department. One of those the CPA will answer during tax work because it came from previous management. The other was an error from the bank and will be handled by accounting. Manager's Report No properties recommended at this time to go to attorney. Issues still remain with pressure washing and yards. Unfinished Business Ray reported on the items he felt needed updating in the documents: Fence Setbacks Flags Sheds Signs Recreational Vehicles behind approved fencing New Business Front Entrance survey is recommended by the association attorney, now that there are issues with Tom McGee. Robert Tindell motioned to have the property survey at entrance to see what belongs to association. Ron Caron 2nd and all approved. Motion passes. Yard of the month: Ray motions to have 149 Southern Breeze as Yard of the Month, Laura 2nd and all in favor. Marie will present Tentative Dates for next year's meetings to City of Minneola. Member Forum No homeowners present. Adjournment: 9:15 p.m. With nothing further to discuss, Robert motioned to adjourn, Laura seconded and all in favor.
