A regular meeting of the Quail Valley Lot Owners Association, Inc. Board of Directors was held at Minneola City Hall, 800 North US HWY 27, Minneola, Florida 34715 on February 27, 2020, at 7:15 p.m. Board Members present were Ray Nivarel (President), Laura Smith (Vice President) and Robert Tindell (Secretary/Treasurer). Quorum was established. Marie Aguirre represented Management. Meeting was noticed on Facebook and info Board. Meeting called to order: at 7:15 p.m. by Ray Nivarel. Previous Meeting Minutes: Robert Tindell motions, Laura Smith seconded and all approve minutes for June 25, 2020, motioned, passed. Financial Report Report was presented by Manager, Marie Aguirre. Collections have started on all accounts. Manager's Report Manager recommends that 2 properties go to attorney for covenenant demands: 100 Magellan and 809 Breezy Lake Way. Laura motions, Robert 2nds and motion passes. Unfinished Business Pressure washing the common areas: American Knight quoted $3100 for Community, and $125 or $200 for Owners depending on their lot. Robert will email Marie info to eblast. 72 hour time frame. Ray will post on Facebook. Laura motions to accept the American Knight offer, Ray 2nds and motion passes. Electrician at the Gazebo — ordered parts. Landscaping issues: Carry out to the Walgreen side Island at the entrance and area between palms has dirt Add something blue — maybe plumbago Playground Pavilion — get bids for gutters, traveling trees for shrubs and leave open sides for trash cans. Check with traveling trees to get a price on trimming around utility boxes, etc. Facebook survey about adding a dock by the playground with a platform for fishing on a 160 ft. dock. Get estimates for clearing and dock. New Business Laura Smith motions to award Yard of the Month to 701 Cherry Laurel, Robert seconded and all approved.
