The meeting was called to order, at time 7:15 p.m..
Board members in attendance were as follows: Dave Yeager, Mike Ellis, Ray Nivarel and Mel Ash. Alfred Rodriguez was absent.
The management company was represented by Lisa Donohue of EPM Services.
The March 2016 minutes were approved with a motion from Mike and seconded by Mel. All agreed. Motion passed.
Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue
- As of March 31, 2016
- CNL Operating Account: $149,968.26
- Centerstate Bank Money Market: $31,454.75
- CNL Reserve Account: $160,222.72
- Iberia Bank Reserves: $100,253.46
- Accounts Receivable: $45,353.99
Landscaping/Maintenance:
- Mike agreed to meet PLM to discuss the retention pond outlet maintenance at the pond on Tranquility.
- The electricity and lights at the pavilion to be repaired.
- A motion was made by Ray and seconded by Mel for the pavilion roof to be replaced by Performance roofing for $3740 using GAF Timberline lifetime shingles. All agreed and the motion carried.
Old Business:
- Mel made a motion to stop the lawsuit against Walgreens and Mike seconded it. Three agreed and one opposed the motion. The motion carried.
New Business:
- A motion was made by Mel and seconded by Ray for Management to send a letter to the owner of the land next to the entrance of Quail Valley. The letter would ask that they donate 10 feet of land closest to Southern Breeze Dr. to Quail Valley. This is so that the area could remain maintained and appealing for all owners in the community as they enter the property regardless of what is eventually built on the land.
- The Board requested management to get a bid on cameras for the park area due to the recent vandalism.
- Management to begin process of getting new signs and sign posts for the community.
Motion to adjourn by Ray at 8:34 p.m.
Next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 26th, 2016 at 7:15 at the Minneola City Hall.
