Quorum was met.

Meeting was called to order by Mel Ash, at time 7:15 p.m..

Board members in attendance were as follows: Steve McPherson, Lynn Anoai, Mel Ash and Alfred Rodriguez. Dave Yeager was absent.

The management company was represented by Lisa Donohue of EPM Services.

The July 2014 minutes were approved with a motion from Steve and seconded by Lynn. All agreed. Motion passed.

Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue
  • As of July 31, 2014
    • CNL Operating Account: $61,951.65
    • First Southern Money Market: $130,835.48
    • CNL Reserve Account: $130,837.06
    • Accounts Receivable: $78,878.24
Committee Reports were given as follows:
  • An ARB application is to be sent to home on Magellan whose setback is 2 ft. forward of where it should be. The allowable setback is 15 feet.
Landscaping/Maintenance:
  • The Board requested management to get bids to paint the front entrance sign.

  • The Board requested management to get bids to pressure clean sidewalks around retention ponds.

  • A motion was made by Steve and seconded by Lynn to have PLM put in flowers at the entrance sign quarterly. Sod replacement at retention ponds and shrub replacement at entrance will be discussed at the next meeting.
New Business:
  • Lt. Stauffer gave a short talk on community safety. He recommended indicator bumps as opposed to speed bumps to keep the speed limit down in the community. These would need to be approved by the city council.
Motion to adjourn by Lynn at 8:42 p.m.

Next meeting will be held on Thursday, September 25th, 2014 at 7:15 at the Minneola City Hall.
