Meeting of Board of Directors

Quorum was met.

Meeting was called to order by David Yeager, at time 7:15 p.m.

Board members in attendance were as follows: David Yeager, Alfred Rodriguez and Mel Ash. Kerry Postel and Natalie Yancey were absent.

Lisa Donohue from EPM was present.

Motion made by Alfred and second by Mel to approve the September 2012 minutes.

Treasurers Report by Lisa Donohue
  • As of September 31, 2012
    • Regions Operating Account: $50,250.24
    • Regions Money Market: $136,504.37
    • Accounts Receivable: $100,497.74

  • The budget for 2013 was approved with a motion from Mel and seconded by Alfred. All agreed. The annual assessment will remain the same at $288.

  • The board unanimously agreed to pay EPM outstanding administrative fees that have been carried by them prior to 2013 in one lump sum payment. The association will begin paying EPM monthly in January of 2013 for all administrative fees that are not paid by the homeowner.

  • Board agreed to move accounts from Regions to CNL bank due to better interest rates.
Committee Reports were given as follows:
    ARB Report:
    • None
    Landscaping/Maintenance:
    • The board agreed to have Brite Electric and Progress Energy provide electricity to the first median.

    • The drainage area at the retention pond at Tranquilty and Gentle Breeze is in need of repair.

    • PLM to trim plants at the entrance sign so that lettering is visible.
Motion to adjourn Mel, and a second Dave at 8:15 p.m.

Next meeting will be the Annual Membership Meeting on November 28th, 2012.
